What’s Up For Dad’s Big Day?

1 06 2009

Did You Know?

The first Father’s Day ever was celebrated on July 05, 1908.  The festivities were initiated by Dr. Robert Webb at the Central United Methodist Church of Fairmont, West Virginia. Father’s Day is observed on a variety of dates worldwide and typically involves special lunch or dinner; gift-giving and different family oriented activities.

Once official the holiday became basically a new commercial season. Many stores hold special sales, father’s only discounts and related promotions to attract the targeted customers.

It is much simple to get perfect children’s, teens or ladies gifts, but men are not easy pleased. Here  are perfect tips for the perfect father:

WATCH - If your father is young in age or at heart, like sports, a stainless steel is always an excellent option. If he has a more traditional and formal style go for a leather band.

CUFF LINKS - A great option for every father. Any occasion, for any new suit will always look beautiful and classy.

TIE PINS, TIE BARSTLM89938-1, TIE CHAINS – For the always in fashion man.

MONEY CLIPS - For the very organized father or for the one who aims to be.

BOOKMARKS – Very affordable option. Can be personalized, an eternal remembrance.

No matter what you choose for the man number one in your life just don’t forget the most important, to remind him how much you love and appreciate the fact that he is your Father!!!

I chose a nice silver bookmark for my dad. He loves reading and will think of me every time he takes a book.

I saw in your website a nice pocket watch. My dad is about 70. Would it be an option or he would fill older? Could I get a discount?
